Rembert and the Basic Goodness is a female-fronted, Brooklyn-based, accordion-forward art-pop band. Led by Rembert Block, accordion and lead vox, the band includes Russ Alderson on bass guitar and backing vocals, Jagoda on drums, and Jeff Hudgins on saxophone.

Rembert and The Basic Goodness’ songs have been described as being “the most charming songs about the most terrible things.
